2023 Bourgogne Passetoutgrain, Domaine Taupenot-Merme

This domaine has its roots in both the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits. When Jean Taupenot from Saint-Romain and Denise Merme from Morey-Saint-Denis married in the early sixties, they brought with them their respective family vineyards, and thus Domaine Taupenot-Merme was born. Twenty-five years later, Romain Taupenot joined the family business, and today, as winemaker, he looks after almost 20 hectares, split fairly evenly between the two Côtes. Romain farms organically and destems all his fruit. This Bourgogne Passetoutgrain is a 50/50 blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay, expressing delicious notes of dark cherry and raspberry.
