Cedd Sparkling Rosé, Essex

Essex, Great Britain

Cedd (pronounced 'said') is a pale, extra brut rosé specially commissioned by Flint, made from 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay grown in the Crouch and Blackwater Valleys in Essex. It takes its name from the 7th century monk who converted the local pagans to Christianity, later becoming Essex’s patron saint, while the label is inspired by ancient coins found near the vineyards. Delicate and pretty, with bright red fruits and a refreshingly dry sapidité, Cedd is the perfect aperitif, both food friendly and enjoyable all on its own.
