2022 Barbaresco DOCG, Cantina del Pino

<div>This is ripe and expressive on the nose, with seductive red berry, rose, blood orange and savoury aromas. The palate is juicy and voluminous, indicative of a warmer growing season, but there’s no lack of definition and energy. The ‘22 is a touch more concentrated than the excellent ‘21, owing partly to the inclusion of declassified fruit from each of the three Cru vineyards. Age-worthy, for sure, but already inviting, it should have a long drinking window.<br></div>
