2024 Estate Riesling Dry, Weingut Merkelbach

<div>Bottled under screwcap, this is a delightful dry Riesling from the tiny (1.4 hecatres) Weingut Merkelbach. The fruit hails from vineyards of between thirty and a hundred years old, mostly in the village of Ürzig, and the wine is raised in traditional oak fuders – which are also decades old. With classic aromas of lime and wet stone, the ’24 has sprightly acidity but no hard edges. Pair it with anything from oysters to sweet and sour tofu.</div>
