This combines explosive floral, red berry and stone fruit aromas with the subtle savoury notes characteristic of Juliénas. The palate is juicy and voluminous with a bright, mineral core. There's a touch of granitic grip towards the finish, which is utterly moreish. The Brets may be best known for their crystalline whites but we recommend their reds just as emphatically.
