2022 Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru, Domaine Launay-Horiot

A whopping three barrels of this were made in 2022 from this small plot of 66-year-old vines! 2022 is a great vintage for Latricières, which is always one of the very best wines in the cellar. There is plenty of structure and the tannins are quite present, but they are fine and mouthwatering, bringing focus and drive to the wine. The fruit profile is blue and there is a stoniness that provides a core of wonderful energy from start to finish. It needs time but it’s a wonderful wine.
