Very different soil here, it being much whiter and stonier,
adding a lovely linear, more reserved quality that zips across the
palate. Lovely classic Pinot colour, pale and inviting, perfumed
on the nose with a red floral note, there is great energy here but
also structure and no little charm. Deceptively concentrated
due to the plethora of small berries. Rather serious Pommard.
