2022 Bourgogne Rouge Les Grands Chaillots, Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair

This Bourgogne comes from lots of different parcels spread all over the Côte, including the Hautes Côtes de Nuits, Chambolle Musigny and Nuits St Georges. In total, there are a whopping four hectares! It sees 30% new oak. Thibault did just two pigeages, not for extraction but just to ‘help the vinification process along.’ The variation in both sites and vine age made for a really nuanced Bourgogne with bright concentration and bite.
