2021 To Market Grenache, Kings Carey

A fun, anytime Grenache. Coming from the organically farmed Dogged Vine Vineyard in Los Olivos, which is a rather steep and stressed site, its three acres of Grenache takes a suprisingly long time to pick given how small the vineyard is. Balancing out the warmer climate further inland from the ocean, the grapes are picked on the earlier side to maintain a fresher style of Grenache. With an inviting floral nose and whiffs of raspberries and earth the palate is juicy and energetic with tangerine, raspberry tea and dark chocolate.
