2023 Oniv Chenin Blanc, Collectible Vintage

This is just so inviting, with ripe, sunny aromas of stone fruit, tangerine and salted caramel. The palate is juicy and voluminous but with Chenin’s characteristic shimmering acidity. It’s concentrated too, pointing to the age of the vines (40+ years). Raised for 11 months in 400 and 500L oak barrels, 2023 Oniv is a seamless wine and is ready to drink – nay, begs to be drunk – on release, but will become more complex and nuanced over the coming five years and beyond.
