2021 Pouilly-Loché Clos des Rocs Monopole, Domaine Clos des Rocs

Immensely appetizing on the nose with ripe citrus and stone fruit, and subtle white flower aromas. The palate is juicy and inviting, with lovely weight of fruit and no hard edges, but there’s plenty of freshness and drive too. For all its ebullience this is a sophisticated, site-specific Chardonnay that tapers elegantly towards the finish, which is cleansing and delicately saline.
