2020 Roero, Az. Ag. Matteo Correggia

The 2021 not being quite ready, our offer again features the outstanding 2020 Roero – and, frankly, it’s even better after an additional year in bottle. Raised in old oak casks for around six months, this is a wonderfully easy-going (but by no means simple) rendition of Nebbiolo, with supple tannins, a generous weight of fruit and of course the grape’s hallmark acidity. Like the Arneis, it’s a supremely versatile wine; as rewarding with a winter roast as it is served at cellar temperature on a sunny summer’s day. Drinking window: 2023-2028
