From the heart of Pinot country, this is a classic Bouzy Champagne with a majority of Pinot giving ample fruit, yet with that stoney crispness and refinement typical of the Bara family. Fresh, with a wonderful vinous nose and delicate orchard fruit, chalk and a touch of pepper with far more mid palate volume than the attractive price would suggest, it really is a no brainer.
