Sylwia Oger
Sylwia joined Flint in 2026 to look after trade accounts in the southwest of England. She grew up in a small village not far from Poznań in western central Poland. She holds a bachelor's degree from the Higher School of Hospitality and Catering in Poznań and then completed a MSc degree in Hospitality Business at Western Pomeranian Higher School of Business in Szczecin, Poland. After graduating, she moved to Cork, Ireland to work in the restaurant of Hayfield Manor Hotel where she stayed for three years before moving to London. She worked at Orrery in Marylebone, then moved to Birmingham and worked at Jessica's under chef Glynn Purnell, then in 2007 moved to Le Manoir Aux Quat’Saisons ultimately as a sommelier under Xavier Rousset MS. Sylwia then moved to Devon where she was Head Sommelier & Manager in several Michelin-starred restaurants: Gidleigh Park Hotel, Lympstone Manor Hotel & Vineyard, and Boringdon Hall Hotel & Spa. During her time at Lympstone Manor she was nominated Sommelier of the Year for the GQ Awards. In 2019 she became a Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers. She lives in Devon in the middle of the Dartmoor National Park with her family.
