Avize 17 40, Champagne Valentin Leflaive

This extra Brut Champagne from the grand cru village of Avize is textbook Blanc de Blancs with an elegant, fresh frame. Fermentation in stainless steel brings pure white floral aromatics and bright citrus fruit. With over four years on lees it has toasty, honeyed notes on the nose, but remains taut, linear and chalky on the palate, with just 4g/l dosage.
