This superb “village” Chardonnay hails from a handful of top sites but primarily the (brilliantly named) Kick-on vineyard. It’s matured for 11 months in 228L and 500L barrels, but without batonnage. Zesty and bright, with a juicy mid-palate and a moreish, delicately saline finish, the 2023 really over-delivers for the money.
