Sébastien Treuillet makes a benchmark Pouilly-Fumé, grown on flinty soils in the heart of the appellation. Unoaked, it has classic herbaceous, citrus and subtle smoky aromas. The 2025 is juicy and easy to enjoy yet fresh, with a long cleansing finish. Locally, they drink it with goat's cheese, but this is a versatile food match – with salads, seafood dishes or white meat – and equally good on its own.
