This is a small 1er Cru sitting within Les Fournaux, just below the more famous Les Lavières which the Tollots own in its entirety. It’s only 1.5 hectares in size and has a very sunny exposition, resulting in a fairly powerful style Savigny which tends to need a little more time than the immediately juicier Les Lavières. 35% new oak and quite broad and structured.
