2025 Sancerre, Les Pierris, Domaine Roger Champault

Les Pierris is the flagship Sancerre blanc from this excellent domaine, which is located in the village of Crézancy and is today managed by Roger’s two sons, Claude and Laurent. Pierris hails from a handful of parcels averaging thirty years old on clay-limestone soils, and is raised exclusively in tank for maximum freshness. The 2025 is generous and expressive, with subtle tropical notes as well as classic aromas of cut grass and elderflower. There’s lovely acidity throughout, with a cleansing, moreish finish.
