This is a Langhe Rosso that would blow many more illustrious Piedmontese wines out of the water. This year it’s two-thirds young Pira fruit, with the remaining third a blend of Luca’s Barbaresco vineyards. Tasted ten days after bottling, it already explodes from the glass with haunting perfume, classic leafy, chewy Nebbiolo with dried citrus peel complexity. Delicious.
