2018 Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru Aux Bouthières, Domaine du Roc des Boutires

The soil is richer here with more clay and the vines are older, at around 55 years old. Like the other site the vines are at a high altitude and are low yielding. The vineyard faces southeast rather than due east. This is very promising with lovely salty aromas and a perfect balance of mid-palate richness and mouth-watering length. Stylish.
