This is the first vintage for Liquid Farm from this site in the northern corridor where the soils are lighter, thus making the wines less dense. Spicy nose of cinnamon sticks and cloves with velvety mid-palate richness and texture, with a juicy mouthfeel and lively acidity. The 2020 Pinot Noir Kessler-Haak is dark, supple and engaging. Silky tannins wrap around a core of black cherry/ plum fruit, lavender, spice, licorice and dried flowers. The 2020 is not super complex, but it is tasty, impeccably balanced and already super delicious. 93 points, Vinous, Antonio Galloni
