2023 Terrasses Blanc, Château Pesquié

Pesquié’s whites are one of the best-kept secrets of the Southern Rhône. The Ventoux has a much cooler microclimate than nearby Châteauneuf, and a predominance of limestone which really makes its presence felt in the mouth-wateringly fresh and saline Terrasses Blanc. An equal-parts blend of four local grapes – Viognier, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and the increasingly trendy Clairette – it’s raised in tank, so freshness is the watchword. Organic certified, the ’23 has subtle floral and stone fruit aromas.<br>
