2018 Sauvignon Selezione, Borgo del Tiglio

2018 was picked earlier than normal but the decision paid off as there was great balance with the phenolic ripeness, sugar and acidity. Mattia, Nicola’s son believes this could become one of the greatest Seleziones that there has been in the last 10 years. Huge aromatic complexity - white peach, melon and tomato leaf which are always typical of this wine. The palate is rich and full, with a sense of sweetness in its dryness, contrasting with its focused minerality. The finish is multi-layered and hard to resist.
