2023 Chablis 1er Cru Vaulorent, Domaine Nathalie et Gilles Fèvre (Marcel et Blanche)

The Fèvres have just over 2 hectares of vines in Vaulorent, which is well exposed and nestles amongst the grands crus. Although it neighbours many of the most powerful sites in Chablis, its lacey delicacy is what really sets it apart. Long, complex and layered, its class shows in its nuance not in its bravado. It really dances on the palate. A delight. Drink from 2028
