2022 Pommard 1er Cru Les Fremiers, Alex Moreau

Alex and Martine Moreau, who run this fabulous estate, have been friends of Flint Wines pretty much since day one, having been kind enough to grant us an allocation back in 2007. Since then, they have become more than just suppliers and, at the risk of being patronising, it’s been wonderful watching their domaine become one of the most revered in Burgundy. The 1er Cru Les Fremiers is sitting at the border with Volnay, giving this Pommard a real sense of elegance and freshness. Tannins are fine and powdery, an exquisite wine!
