2020 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Cailles, Domaine Alain Michelot

This is such a nice vineyard and often gets lost behind the more famous Crus of Vaucrains and Les St Georges. But it’s very classic and chez Michelot it’s probably her most elegant wine, showing poise and balance as well as undoubted ageing potential.
