Leflaive owns the vineyard and Nicolas Rossignol works it, paying Leflaive with a small parcel of grapes. The Leflaive team actually harvest their share about a week earlier than Monsieur Rossignol as they want to keep the vibrancy of the fruit. The parcel is a mix of ages stretching from 10 years to 70 years, providing a nice mix of old vine intensity and youthful vigour. This is gorgeously succulent and texturally very silky. The malo finished quite early here so the wine is already looking really lovely. Well constructed and composed this has a lot of finesse mixed in with the richness of fruit. Drink from 2030
