This is one of Savigny’s most famous vineyards. It’s at the same
altitude as Les Gravains but there is more clay. Well exposed
in the middle of the slope, the vines are into their nineties and
ripen easily. They bring great phenolic ripeness to the table,
providing a substantial but svelte tannic structure to support
the juicy, ripe fruit. Lots of potential here.
