Keermont is in the beautiful Blaauwklippen Valley in Stellenbosch, nestled between two mountain ranges. Its Riverside Chenin vineyard is one of the oldest blocks, planted in 1971. The vineyard is over 2ha, but tiny yields mean barely more than 1,000 bottles are made. Part of the OVP (Old Vine Project), it is a labour of love, showing beautiful aromas of white flowers, aromatic stone fruit, and marzipan. Bright acidity cuts through a rich, textured palate.
