2024 Primavera, Domaine Pierre Jean Villa

<div>According to Pierre Jean, 2024 marks the finest vintage for his whites he has produced to date. Sourced from 35-year-old Viognier vines planted at 400 metres, Primavera reflects a fresher expression of the variety, moving away from the more opulent style that defined Viognier for much of the past two decades. Matured exclusively in large wooden foudres, with no barrique influence, the wine retains remarkable purity. Pale lemon in colour, it opens with fragrant peach, apricot and white blossom, underpinned by a subtle malolactic note. Gentle acidity yet this remains beautifully balanced and fresh.</div>
