2022 Gigondas, La Tour, Domaine Montirius

The 2022 is supple and easy to enjoy in the best traditions of the Southern Rhône but with the fresh acidity that’s a hallmark of Montirius. Expect aromas of ripe red strawberry and raspberry, with hints of garrigue, liquorice and violets. An autumn red par excellence, it will pair brilliantly with roast meat or game. Tough to resist now but, like all Montirius’ wines, it should age well, becomingly increasingly bosky and voluptous. A real treat.
