2017 Pommard 1er Cru Les Rugiens, Domaine Heitz-Lochardet

This is by far the weightiest and most powerful of the three Pommards, as one would expect. It is concentrated with real volume on the finish. Balanced and still very elegant for a Rugiens, it has good structure for ageing and lots of length. Plenty to come.
