2022 Gevrey-Chambertin En Pallud, Mark Haisma

This is a great plot that Mark took over in 2020 just below 1er Cru Les Corbeaux and at an angle down from Mazis. This is great terroir: rich marl clay that works well for Pinot. In 2022 it has an attractive floral aroma, fragrant and perfumed, very pretty on the nose, lovely texture on the palate, fine grained tannins and a complex finish. I’m going to have to get some of this for my own cellar. Drink from 2028
