Charles only got his hands on this half-hectare parcel a handful of years ago, with his first vintage being 2017. He has a very cute arrangement in place with Thibaud Clerget of Volnay and Pommard fame. Thibaud looks after these vines in Meursault, whilst Charles returns the favour tending to his plot in the Clos Vougeot, meaning each only has a few hundred yards to travel rather than making the journey all the way from one Côte to the other! This has a lovely mix of the ripe and the stoney with hints of white flowers, honeysuckle, and chalky minerality. Drink from 2026
