2020 Olivet Ranch Chardonnay, Failla Wines

In 2011, Ehren purchased an established vineyard on Olivet Road in Santa Rosa, next to the revered Olivet Lane Vineyard, in the heart of the Russian River AVA. It was immediately converted to organic farming and the vineyard so exceeded everyone’s high expectations that it has become a nursery for future plantings. The 2020 Olivet is a classic Failla Chardonnay with green and yellow apple and lemon curd on the nose followed by a finely etched palate of beautiful acidity and balance. 10% new French oak and 30% is aged in concrete eggs.
