2022 Vouvray Sec, Domaine du Clos Naudin (Vincent Foreau)

2022 was a warmer vintage in Vouvray so this wine is a touch broader than the ’21 and more expressive in its youth, with aromas of ripe pear and apple blossom and a very attractive nutty character. It didn’t undergo mal – so still has plenty of tension and peps – and, as usual at this address, was raised in 300L barrels, some up to a quarter-century old.<br>
