So, some bright spark thought it would be a good idea to not make the whole of the vineyard of Sur La Roche, which lies on the slopes of the famous hill of Vergisson, a 1er Cru. This section is the upper part of the vineyard, arguably a good place to be given the recent changes in climate, but although it’s the same soil, with just a slightly different aspect it was degreed to not include this part.
