2021 Sanford and Benedict Pinot Noir, Chanin

The most famous vineyard and with the oldest vines in Santa Barbara County. It has a distinct spice accented cherry note that carries through onto the palate with vibrant red fruit and a delicate sinuwy tannin structure with hints of lavender on the finish. It shows good depth of fruit with a crunchy freshness. In the words of Gavin ‘I always knew there was more potential in this vineyard that we had never managed to unlock, but in 2021, we are finally there. It is my favourite S&B ever’.
