2021 Langhe Nebbiolo, Sori della Sorba

This ethereal 100% Nebbiolo really speaks of the rocky (limestone with deposits of iron) soil here and 2021’s relatively cool growing season. It’s a gorgeous, cerebral wine, with classic Nebbiolo aromas of roses, black cherry and forest floor all heightened by the judicious use of 80% whole bunch. Whole bunch also serves to mellow the tannins, which are supple, and wrapped around a bright mineral thread.
