2021 Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine Arlaud

Two Lieux dits: La Justice (border with Fixin) and Les Seuvrées (border with Morey-St-Denis). There is a step up here in density and layered complexity. As expected, it is denser and darker fruited than the previous two. It has Gevrey muscle, but with fine tannins. The aromatic complexity is enticing with blackberry notes, a hint of mint, earthy notes and a touch of Christmas spice. Approachable young, this should benefit from a few years in bottle.
