2022 Auxey-Duresses Blanc 'Cuvée Patience N°15', Domaine Agnès Paquet

The decisive moment for Agnès came when, aged 21 and fresh out of a business degree, the family considered selling their holdings and with a healthy dose of both courage and naivety she decided to take the leap into this new vocation. For over two decades now the domaine has been a source of some of the most elegant and refined wines to be found in Auxey-Duresses, with a notable drive and purity being the hallmarks of this domaine. For Cuvee Patience, the vines are planted on a hillside in a valley benefiting from a cool climate and south facing to ensure full ripening. The cuvee is aged for about 27 months: 24 months in 350 litre barrels (15% new) then 3 months in stainless steel vats.
