Still Water, Velleminfroy

The finest tables deserve the finest of waters! Velleminfroy water draws its unique properties and flavour from the soil of a preserved natural environment in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. Absolutely pure, with no nitrates or pesticides, and also very low in sodium, it has been acknowledged for its health-giving properties. Rich in calcium and magnesium, with sulphates traditionally associated with aiding digestion, it is smooth and distinctly mineral, with a subtle chalky character and impressive freshness. It was officially recognised as a “natural mineral water” by decree of the Imperial Academy of Medicine in 1859, during the reign of Napoleon III. Its vintage and elegant glass bottle commemorates the history of the spring.
