2024 Pommard 1er Cru La Platière, Domaine Violot Guillemard

I tasted the wine from both ceramic and wood and a blend of the two which was fascinating to see. The oak version is obviously sappier and fleshier, whilst the ceramic version is finer, though it was interesting that it is still had plenty of power, implying that the tannic structure is very much coming from the wine and not the wood. Put together, one can see the completeness of the wine. No hurry to drink this but excellent for the future. Drink from 2032
