2024 Beaujolais Blanc, Clos de Rochebonne, Château Thivin

<div>It should come as no surprise this fabulous domaine for reds should be able to turn its hand to Chardonnay too. Rochebonne is a genuine clos (with three metre-high walls) an hours’ drive south of Côte de Brouilly in the area known as Les Pierres Dorées – the one part of Beaujolais where limestone rather than granite predominates. Raised in 10% new barriques, the 2024 is a fairly powerful and concentrated white, albeit with plenty of acidity and a cleansing limestone-infused finish.</div>
