2021 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru, Domaine Stéphane Magnien

Good vine age here, with a 40 year average, most planted between 1980-1986. A lovely nose, floral, ripe and open; big volume on the palate, dark forest berry fruit, concentration, sweet tannins, depth and breadth in the middle of the palate. Complex but smooth and inviting. The finish is layered, mineral and long. Put your hand up quick as only three barrels were made.
