2023 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières, Domaine des Lambrays

This is the largest 1er Cru in Puligny, totalling 17 hectares, but the domaine only has around a third of a hectare. The holding is a long row of vines taking in various soil types and expositions as it runs pretty much the entire length of the vineyard. Consequently, it captures all the numerous elements that can make this Cru so special. Racy in texture and stony in aromatics, its vibrant precision sits perfectly with its underlying richness and the wine as a whole is a wonderful expression of this lovely vintage. Drink from 2027
