2025 Fleurfontein, Keermont

Coastal Region, Western Cape, South Africa

Fleurfontein, or ‘flower fountain’ is named after a spring on the Keermont farm. It’s painstaking work to create this beautiful dessert wine. They pinch the stems of the bunches when perfectly ripe on the vine, to stop the flow of fluid in and out. This allows the grapes to concentrate naturally, whilst not becoming overripe. They press the remaining juice into old barrels and mature for 15 months. Full, complex, and creamy with dried apricot, pineapple cubes, honey, vanilla and gentle spice. Long, complex finish with well balanced sweetness.
