2023 Saint-Veran La Bonnode, La Soufrandière

<div>Stunning Chardonay from maestros of the Mâconnais the Bret brothers of Domaine de la Soufrandière. This is a domaine bottling (as opposed to a Bret bros negoce wine) from a cool, two hectare parcel at the foot of the Roche de Vergisson. Like all the Brets’ wines it’s vinified with minimal SO2 and no new oak. The ‘23 combines “sunny” ripe citrus aromas with thrilling acidity, a long, stony finish and a palpable sense of energy.</div>
