2021 Rosso di Montalcino, Tenuta Le Potazzine

It’s always tempting to refer to Le Potazzine’s Rosso as a Baby Brunello since it hails from the same vineyards and undergoes the same vinification and ageing (up to 11 months). The 2021 is a particularly fine example, with enticing aromas of violets, red berries and warm earth. Like all the wines from this estate – whose 5 hectares lie at some 500 metres altitude – it has tremendous freshness, drive and sheer drinkability.
